We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Eugenia Matthews of Somerville, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nell Dossett and Burgin Dossett; her husband John Payson Matthews; her children, John Payson Matthews IV, Blakeley Dossett Matthews and Thomas Burgin Jennings Matthews; and her sisters, Julia Webb of Knoxville and Ann Blevins of Franklin. She was also cherished by three grandsons and four granddaughters.
The family requests that donations go to the First Presbyterian Church of Somerville where she was an active member for more than 60 years or to the charity of your choice.
