He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Tucker and Pauline Tucker; the mother of his children Faye Tucker Russell; his stepdaughter Gladys Tucker; and his siblings, Donald Tucker, Doss Tucker and Thena Mae Arthur.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Rutherford (George) and Debbie Whittiemore (Tommy); his stepchildren, Allen McElwee (Gina) and Patricia Sims; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Burch, Shane Burch, Dani Rutherford, Hunter McElwee, Thomas McElwee, Sara Sims, Dustin Sims and Zack Sims.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Equus Foundation, 168 Long Lots Road, Westport, CT 06880, to honor his love of horses.
