Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Mitchell Moore and Drucilla Inez Glass (Drusa); and his sister Margaret Ann Lynn Moore. He is survived by: his wife Doris; and his children, Michele Moore Dowlen (Michael), Zachary of Camden, Andrew Dowlen of Camden and Mitchell Moore of Johnson City, Tennessee..
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sanderson Funeral Homes, Inc. (901 Main St N, Carthage, TN 37030-1002). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
