He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard James Aslinger and Hettie Alice Morgan Aslinger; his wife Alyne Wilson Aslinger; his son Wayne Aslinger, Jr.; and his son-in-law Dr. Michael Garland.
He is survived by: his daughter Becky Garland; his daughter-in-law Karen Rhodes; his grandchildren, Andrew Aslinger (Lan Anh), John Aslinger (Esther), Alex Hans (Kayla) and Abby Rhodes; and his great grandchildren, William, Abigail, Katherine, Joshua and Margot.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center (8911 Dallas Hollow Rd, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
