With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Katherine Peppers of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Peppers; her parents, Martha Wilson (Marvin Wilson) and Doc Laymon; her brother Ralph Wilson; her stepson Randy Peppers; her granddaughter Brooklyn Eakins; and her nephew Ed Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Hixson (Alan), Kathy Garren, Wayne Peppers (Yvonne) and Pam Baker (Tom); her sister Charlotte Dykes (Nelson); and her grandchildren, Kristi Von Hollen (Leland), Jason Hixson (Candace), Debriann Carroll (Scott), Emily Eakins (James Dunn), Deanna Robinson (Miller), Wesley Peppers, Missy Robinson (Garrett), Kadi Torres (Jamie), Michael Howard (Shelly) and Chris Howard (Nadia). She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
