He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Elaine Hood Grant; and his parents, George Grant and Gaile Bates Grant. He is survived by: his uncle Nathan; his aunt Martha Lewis; and his sons, Ricky Grant (Nicole), Robin McCaleb (David), Eddie Lewis (Roxanne) and Doraine Massengale (Jimmy).
