She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Swearengin; her daughter Melinda Knight; her brothers, Harold, Sam, Leon, Red, Dave and Charlie Shipley; and her parents, Wesley Shipley and Pearl Steakley Shipley.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Wilson (Randy Wilson); her sisters, Wanda Culver (Frankie Culver) and Pat Bowman (Jerry Bowman); her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Swearengin and Carol Rogers; her son-in-law Aaron Knight; her grandchildren, Leah Conroy, Adam Wilson (Kate Wilson), Chloe Knight, Dedra Skwiot (Gabe Skwiot), Meagan Knight and Aaron Knight; and her great grandchild Lexi Conroy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
