It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Thompson of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Ita Thompson. He is survived by : his wife Amy Denham Thompson; his children, Ian Thompson, Abigail Thompson, Anna Kate Thompson and Amber Thompson; his father Fred "Tiny" Thompson; his sisters, Cindy Witt (Mark) and Mitzi Thompson Sanders; his parents-in-law, Jim and Teresa Denham; his siblings-in-law, Alicia, Chris Johnson, Matthew, Michelle Denham, Jonathan and Brittney Denham; and his close friend Hank Ritter (Maryann). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family.

In lieu of flowers a Trust for the future college expenses for his children has been established at Scenic Community Credit Union.
