As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Leland may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Penney and Louise Penney (Wanda Penney). He is survived by: his sons, Eric Penney (Scott Pendergrass) and Greg Penney; his grandson Tristan Pendergrass; his sister Lois Green; and his nieces, Ashlee Hillebrand and Schanna Hullender. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
