With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joel Mabry Simons of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, born in Florence, Alabama, who passed away on March 7, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Simons and Doris Simons. He is survived by: his wife Elva Simons; his daughters, Christine Simons Daniels (Mike) and Megan Simons; his grandson Jonah Abbott; and his siblings, Jan Simons Nichols, Joyce Simons Richardson (Larry) and James Holmes "Jimmy" Simons, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can me made to the Ronald McDonald House in Chattanooga.
