It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Hernandez (Soddy Daisy, Tennessee), born in Brownsville, Texas, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mauricio Hernandez and Maria Antonia [Lopez] Hernandez; his siblings, Emilio, Mauricio, Andrea Garza and Celia Barrientos; and his children, Felipe Hernandez Jr. (Alaska), Chiquita Hernandez (Alaska), Gwendolyn [Hernandez] Strutko (Georgia) and George Hernandez (Alaska). He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and at least 21 great-grandchildren.
