He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Warren Gordon Beavers and Nola Potter Beavers. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Wright Beavers; his sons, Chris Beavers (Melisa) and Adam Beavers; his grandchildren, Mollie of Soddy Daisy and Maddie-Claire Beavers of Soddy Daisy; and his siblings, Judith Hughes (Ron) of Chattanooga, Harold Beavers of Soddy Daisy and Thomas Beavers (Rose). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
