He was predeceased by: his mother Jackie C. Shelton. He is survived by: his sons, Tommy McGinnis, Hunter Varnell and Kannon Varnell; his stepdaughter Summer Griffith; his fiancée Mary K. Akehurst; his father Dennis Varnell (Norma); his siblings, Denise Arney (Rick), Walter Keeton, Keri Varnell and Bobby Gallion (Melissa); and his aunt Becky Crites. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
