He was predeceased by: his wife Flo Johnson; his parents, Riley Johnson and Lola Johnson; and his siblings, Viola Johnson, Rita Bess Moses, F. A. Johnson, Ray Johnson and Jimmy Lloyd Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Xan Cox (James) and Tina Johnson (Eddie Grant); his grandchildren, Laura Ramirez (Jonathan), Tyler Terry (Amber Neighbors) and Caleb Cox (Mason Shirley); his brothers, Quay Johnson (Melba) and Clayton Johnson (Glenda); and his niece Sheila Johnson. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and extended family.
