She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter McCrary and Izola McCrary; her husband Hal L. Coleman; and her siblings, Walter "Buddy" McCrary Jr. and Shirley McCrary Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia J. Coleman and Hal Lawrence "Larry" Coleman; her grandchildren, Stephen Adam Coleman and Amanda Elizabeth Coleman Crowder; and also, Elise D. Coleman, Maria D. Coleman, Lily A. Crowder and Hazel C. Crowder.
In lieu of flowers, attendees are asked to bring any personal stories of Helen and any photographs that they'd be willing to share so that these items can be collected into a book to be gifted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
