He is survived by: his children, Brooke Layne (Derek), Breylin Kilgore, Macae Jackson (Austin) and Sara Smartt (Tanner); his grandchildren, Jaxon Layne, Jentson Layne, Jhett Layne, Abel Smartt and Remi Mae Jackson; his mother Erma Kilgore; his sisters, Cindy Cagle (Scott) and Tiffany Skelton (Teddy); his nieces, Katlynn Cagle and Zoë Skelton; his great-nephew Brantley Wallisch; his extended family, Kendra McCahill (Hannah), Dani Privett, Josh Chapman and Rachal Smith; and also Sha Kilgore.
