She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Barbee; her parents, Mary Ellen and Raymond Kerns; her grandson Jerry Perry; her great grandchild Jay Yancey; her daughter-in-law Sherry Barbee; and her brothers, Allen Kerns of Soddy Daisy and Wade Kerns of Rossville.
She is survived by: her children, Louie Barbee of Rossville, Donna Manning (David) of Hixson, TN, Dena Smith (Jerry) of Virginia, Diane Johnson (Jim) of Chattanooga, Dora Jenkins (Mike) of Dunlap, Lynn Barbee of Dunlap and Debbie Penny (William) of Hixson; and her grandchildren, Brittany Barbee, Brandon Barbee (Amanda), Melissa Manning, Melanie Smith (Clint), Matthew Manning (Rachel), Sherry Skiles, Brian Skiles, Carla Gordy (Steven), Timmy Bray (Darline), April Lovelady (Garry), Amy Bray (Jeremy Essex), Adam Jenkins (Lisa), Justin Jenkins, Amanda Douglas (Ron), James Penny (Cheryl), Billy Penny and Josh Penny (Heather). She is also survived by 38 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.
