It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Yarbrough of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel T Weaver and Mary Ellen Scarbrough Weaver; her siblings, William Crawford, Charles Afton, Gabriel T Weaver Jr., Mary Evelyn King, Vera Kate White and Verna Mae Thompson; and her son Garland Yarbrough, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Garland Yarbrough, Sr.; her daughters, Jennifer Yarbrough, Cathy Daniel and April Abernathy (Bryant); and her sister Lana Jean Hofman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
