He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Clingman and Iva Edwards Clingman. He is survived by: his wife Connie Elaine Clingman; his daughters, Robin Carpenter (David) and Jennifer Clingman Rhudy (Michael); his grandchildren, Emma Kate, Wesley, Seth Carpenter, Logan Clingman, Reagan and Rowan Rhudy; and his brother Richard Clingman (Sherry). He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
