He was predeceased by: his wife Bettie Sue Wingler; his parents, Albert Wingler and Iva May Wingler of Salem, IN; his siblings, Erma Maudlin, Bertha Brown and Lloyd Winger; and his great grandchild Sofie of Maine.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Stanley (William) of Norton, VA, Allen Wingler (Sandra) of Coeburn, VA, Sharon (Lacey) of Maine, Charlene Large (Marty) of Abingdon, VA, Dwayne Winger (LaDonna) of Pikeville, TN and Karon Arnold (Barry) of Soddy Daisy, TN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
