Bettye Skillern Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2023, at the age of 87, Bettye Skillern of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, born in Calhoun, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Fred Rees Skillern, Jr.; her parents, Will Stroud and Ruth Cornwell Stroud; and her brother Mike Stroud. She is survived by: her husband Fred Rees Skillern; her siblings-in-law, Bobbie and Miles Springfield; her niece Jill Menefee (Shawn); her nephew Kurt Springfield (Elizabeth); her cousin Chad Cornwell (Lynn); her caregivers, Bettye and Fred; and also, Falon, Brock and Piper Cornwell.
