He was predeceased by: his former wife Beth Clayton; his daughter Kristy Simmons; and his sisters, Charlotte Whitmire and Sue Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Clayton; his children, Bryan Clayton (Lisa) and Elisa Davis (Pete); and his stepson Randy Gossett. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
