It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Coomer of Sneedville, Tennessee, born in Wise, Virginia, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carl Coomer and Mildred Clarence Coomer; and his siblings, Bobbie Sue Coomer, Evelyn Caudill, Dan Coomer and Fred Coomer.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Coomer of Sneedville, TN; his daughter Catherine Lawson (Charles) of Eidson, TN; his grandchildren, Gregory, Brandon, Ryan, Legend and Harlan; his siblings, Mary Laws (Alan) of Ohio, Ann Caudill (Wilbur) of Kentucky, Betty Coomer of Virginia, Randy Coomer (Kathy) of Virginia and Jimmy Coomer (Carol) of Virginia; and his niece Whitney Johnson (Mike). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
