He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Miller Collins and Jessie Beatrice Collins; and his brothers, Leon Doris Collins and Walter Cline Collins. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Turner Collins; his daughters, Tammy Gibson (Jimmy) and Karen Breeding (Randy); his grandchildren, Joshua Myron Gibson (Marianne Morris), Bradley Earl Gibson (Chrissy), Austin Ryan Breeding (Alicia) and Emily Grace Breeding (Seth Lunsford); his great grandchild Madison Layne Gibson; and his close friend Rodney Greene.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to his home church Cherokee Heights Baptist Church in Morristown.
