He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Mahan and Edna Mahan; and his siblings, Jack, Kenny, Larry Mahan, Carolyn Stapleton and Anna Minor.
He is survived by: his siblings, Blake, Dowell, Paul Mahan, Dorothy Seal and Rebecca Mahan; and his uncle Tom Trent. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
