He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Pope and Geneva Boyce Pope; and his brother Earl Pope. He is survived by: his wife Amy Pope; his sons, Bobby Pope (Beth), Steve Carter Pope, Jr., Heath Pope and Dillon Pope; his granddaughters, Leanna Hollis (Michael), Shayla McCord and Breanna Pope; his great grandchildren, Lydia and Samson; and his siblings, Kevin Pope (Tonya), Diane Guthrie (Gary), Sandra Brandon and Carol Counts.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
