With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley W. Smith (Smyrna, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cassie Hughes Walker and Ewell Walker; her husband Harold Smith; and her siblings, Pierce Walker, Jabo Walker, Lee Walker, Nanette Shaw and Virginia Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Derek Smith, Jennifer Henderson and Claire Joiner (Kevin).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the LifePoint Church (506 Legacy Dr, Smyrna, TN 37167). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lehrton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Life Point Church in Smyrna, TN.
