She was predeceased by: her parents, Cassie Hughes Walker and Ewell Walker; her husband Harold Smith; and her siblings, Pierce Walker, Jabo Walker, Lee Walker, Nanette Shaw and Virginia Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Derek Smith, Jennifer Henderson and Claire Joiner (Kevin).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Life Point Church in Smyrna, TN.
