She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Newt and Nellie Earheart Lewis; her significant other William Layton Mayhugh; and her son Bruce S. Mayhugh (Marsha Mayhugh). She is survived by: her children, Carole S. Hamilton (Harold), Teresa K. Bankston (James), W. Joy Brady (Lee) and Tom W. Mayhugh (Joan); her daughter-in-law Janice Mayhugh; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Lewis and Katherine Tompkins. She is also survived by grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Funeral Home (5350 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
