It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Raikes (Smyrna, Tennessee), born in Altavista, Virginia, who passed away on November 26, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Cox and Videll Alma Oakes Cox; her siblings, James "Dickie" Hagood, Frances Hagood Johnson and Carolyn Lee Hix O'Neal; and her nephew Jason Hagood.
She is survived by: her brother W. D. Thomason; her husband Robert "Bud" L. Raikes; her daughters, Vicki Fann (Terry) of Murfreesboro and Kimber Buehler; her grandchild Drew Fann; and her siblings, Gerry Waldron (Steve) of Murfreesboro and Jesse "Deedie" Hagood (Debbie) of Smyrna. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
