He is survived by: his wife Vickie; his caregiver Vickie Martin Crofts; his children, Shae Crofts Tuggle of Vonore, TN, Tanya Crofts Hamilton (Lance) of Tellico, TN and James Woodeson (Jessica) of Dallas, GA.; his grandchildren, Hunter Sutherland (Megan) of Gilbert, AZ, Brandt Sutherland (Mackensie) of Carbondale, IL, Tyler Peeler (Tiffany) of Acworth, GA, Dalton Merrill of San Diego, CA, Landon Hamilton of Tellico, TN., Peyton Woodeson of Dallas, GA and Jenna Hamilton of Tellico, TN.; his great grandchildren, Xander Sutherland of Gilbert, AZ., Lula and Junie Peeler of Acworth, GA.; and his brothers, Bill Crofts (Cynthia) of Athens, TN and Scott Crofts of Englewood, TN..
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bordwine Funeral Home (203 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1727-1739 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Jim.
