He was predeceased by: his parents, George Crittendon Cowley and Addie Carter Cowley; and his granddaughter Frances Cryer. He is survived by: his children, Viona Cryer (Norman Cryer, Jr), Eddie Cowley (Mary) and Andy Cowley (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Haley Dawson, Karas Cowley and Georgette Cowley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodfin Chapel (203 N Lowry St, Smyrna, TN 37167). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210).
