It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ray Cantrell of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Ann Cantrell and Donald Cantrell; his great-niece Rayleigh Violet Scruggs; and his grandparents, William, Henrietta Cantrell, George and Annie Silvers.
He is survived by: his wife Sonya Caldwell Cantrell; his son Carl Ray Cantrell of Smithville; his stepchildren, Blake Mitchell of Smithville, Terry Joe Mitchell of Smithville and Aleaha Miler of Smithville; and his siblings, Becky Cantrell, Anita Adams (Scott) and Andy Cantrell of Smithville. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Love-Cantrell Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
