She was predeceased by: her father Edward H. Teachman; her husband Darwin Gard; and her siblings, Edward, Lawrence, George, Blain, Harold, Carl, Doug, Geneva and Lora Jane.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Holcomb (Rick) of Smithville, Karla Warrick (Bo) of Smithville, Michele Roller (Pete) of Smithville and Bill Gard (Susan) of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Sarah Sledge (Joe), Ashle Wiley (Michael), Rachel Holcomb (Mitchell), Samantha Rohling (Michael), Johnna Roller (Brandon), Kaitlyn Roller, Nathan Gard (Brittney), Ben Gard (Traci), Brooke Nickens (David) and Bryce Gard (Ashley); her sisters, Twylah Alameda (Bob) and Edrie Zwiers; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Teachman and Sherri Gard. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
