We bid farewell to Sharon Sue Rust of Smithville, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 26, 2024 at the age of 71. Sharon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Malsky and Helen Skurja Malsky; her husband Curtis Rust; and her brother John Wayne Malsky. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Prater (Bobby) of Cookeville and Terese Pena (Oscar); her grandchildren, Elena Prater and Korrin Therrien; her sisters, Carol Malsky and Diane Malsky; and her cousin Dennis Skurjo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with final expenses.
