He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Vernon and Helen Kay Grossman Jones; and his son Charles V. Jones. He is survived by: his wife Delores Jones of Smithville; his children, Richard Reed Jones of Crossville and Janet Felts (Kevin) of Tullahoma; his grandson Trent Jones of Knoxville; and his great grandchild Nora Jones.
