It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norman Arlo Emmert of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Emmert and Louise Winters Emmert; his wife Mackie Ann Emmert; and his siblings, Ray Emmert, Ramona Larson, Eugene Emmert, Donald Emmert and Rose Margaret Emmert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Andria Turner (Thomas) of Madison, AL and Norma Lynn Emmert of Smithville; and his sister-in-law Thelma Martin of Smithville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the DeKalb County Tigerette Softball program, Smithville Church of Christ Work Camp fund, or your favorite Veteran's Organization.
