It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Carolyn Brazle (Smithville, Tennessee), who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Velmar Bogle and Frances Larue Page Redmon; her daughter Sherry Potter; her great grandchild Evelyn Braswell; and her brother Dale Bogle.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Bluhm of Woodbury; her children, Joyce Ann Hollis (Shane) of McMinnville and Nathan Brazle (Sarah) of Smithville; her grandchildren, Nicole Cope (Dustin), Candice Jones (Jason), Lily Brazle, Bella Sevier, Easton Brazle, Holly Potter, Krisann Parks and Megan Braswell; her great grandchildren, Cody, Gage, Lakelyn Simpson, Brayden Hollis, Asa, Asher Jones, Alex Sevier, Natasha Sevier, Bentley, Savannah Parks, Skyler and Mae Braswell; her great great grandchildren, Newt, Ovie and Andy Simpson; and her siblings, Charles Bogle of Kingsport, Ronnie Redmon of Dowelltown, Kathy Bennett of Gordonsville and Debbie Bogle of Antioch.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeKalb Funeral Chapel (863 S Congress Blvd, Smithville, TN 37166). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at the Woods Cemetery.
