It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josh Carter of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold, Margaret Coppinger Carter and Robert H. Lyle; his stepmother Judy Carter; and his stepsister Brittney Atherton.
He is survived by: his parents, Harold Todd Carter of McMinnville and Danita Garza (Martin) of Smithville, TN.; his son Braxton Caleb Carter of McMinnville; his brothers, Chris Carter (Shannon) of McMinnville and Devin Ray Carter of New Mexico; his stepbrother B. J. Hampton of McMinnville; and his grandmother Juanita Lyle of Smithville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
