With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanie Lynn Armour Butler of Smithville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 54. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Armour and Connie Armour; her son Nicholas Reeder; her sisters, Sharon Thomason and Samanda Armour; and her nephew Brian Thomason.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Bennett of Smithville; her grandsons, Nicholas Lackey of Smithville and Calstin Bennett of Smithville; her brother John Armour of Smithville; and her nieces and nephews, Brandy Thomason, Johnathan Armour, Brittany Gard, Nathan Armour and Kelly Armour.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Love-Cantrell Funeral Home (100 E Church St, Smithville, TN 37166). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the DeKalb Cemetery (3027 McMinnville Hwy, Smithville, TN 37166).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Love-Cantrell Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
