With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Donald Lattimore of Smithville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby E. Lattimore and Mary Ferrell Lattimore; his wife Mae Elizabeth Lattimore; and his son James Bradley "Brad" Lattimore. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Burton (Harold) of Smithville, David Lattimore of Smithville, Kathy Bailey (Roger) of Smithville and Rick Lattimore of Smithville; his grandchildren, Steve Mabe, Chris Burton, Rachel Anderson, Ashley Satterfield, Glen Lattimore and Jody Lattimore; his great grandchildren, Jeron Burton, Haden Burton, Heath Mabe, Lance Mabe, Haylee Mullican, Jordan Farley, Cloey Anderson, Jackson Lattimore, Kalynn Lattimore, Madelynn Lattimore, Blaine Lattimore, Cody Johnson and Tony Pack; and his great great grandchildren, Colton, Karson, Karter and Brooklyn Mabe. He is also survived by Other extended family & friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM at the DeKalb Funeral Chapel (863 S Congress Blvd, Smithville, TN 37166). A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the DeKalb Cemetery (3027 McMinnville Hwy, Smithville, TN 37166).
In lieu of flowers family asked that donations be made to the Animal Shelter or Live & Let Live.
