He was predeceased by: his parents, Leve Pennington and Jo Anna Pennington; his grandparents, Claude, Mattie Pennington, Buford and Velma Jaco; and his nephew Christopher Cass.
He is survived by: his sister Felicia Woodard; his nephews, Daniel Summers and Joshua Summers (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Payton Summers, Anthony James Summers, Wyatt Summers and Adison Summers. He is also survived by great-nephews and great-niece.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
