James Seymour Cooper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Seymour Cooper (Smithville, Tennessee), who passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepson Jeremy Ray Ferrell; his siblings, Bertha Cooper and Joseph Cooper; and his grandparents, Seymour, Pearl Cooper, James and Bertha May.
He is survived by: his parents, Matthew Cooper and Jackie May Cooper; his wife Ethel Cooper of McMinnville; his stepsons, Jonathan Ferrell (Angelia) of Smithville and Steven Ferrell (Amanda) of Smithville; his children, Chris South (Tori) and Justin Braswell; his grandchildren, Shaun West, Linda West, Ellabeth Ferrell, Colton Ferrell, C. J. South, Summer South and Brooklyn South; his siblings, Jeffery Cooper (Melissa) of West, VA., JoAnn Zelker (Randy) of West, VA. and Jason Cooper of West, VA.; and his close friends, Glenn "Cotton" and Trish Bogle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many other family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Beach Hill Cemetery.
