He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Gunter and Norma Phillips Gunter; and his brother Phillip Gunter. He is survived by: his children, Danielle Gunter Thomsen (Stig) of Denmark and Matthew Gunter (Thi) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Auden Thomsen, Benjamin Thomsen, Ella Gunter and Madison Gunter; and his sister Sharon Rader (Harold) of Smithville. He is also survived by 3 nieces.
