He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eli and Connie Lee Clayton; and his brother James Verner Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Ann Clayton of Gassaway; and his children, Rusty Clayton, Melissa Clayton, Dallas Clayton, Jennifer Clayton Paige, Andrea LeeLeigh Clayton and Amy Jo Clayton Rod. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
