He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Young and Myrtle Jones Young; and his siblings, Maureen Gillette, Juanita Donalson, Betty Jean Young, Willie Young, Gerald Young and Marvin Young.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Young; his children, Terry Young (Joyce) of Smithville, Tonia Lockman (Marty) of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA and Tim Young (Marilyn) of Tunnel Hill, GA; his grandchildren, Erin, Amy, Kelley, Isaac, Nia and Tela; and his brother Jimmy Earl Young (Marlene) of Dibrell. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
