He was predeceased by: his mother Louella Caplinger Trapp; his son Duane Trapp; his grandson Daymon Trapp; and his siblings, Oleda Duke, Louaudrey Malone, JoAnn Baker, Peggy Agee, Johnny Trapp, Mason Trapp and Donald Trapp.
He is survived by: his father Clarence Trapp; his wife Linda Chapman Trapp of Smithville; his son Darrel Trapp (Janet) of Dowelltown; his sister Judy Johnson of Liberty; his brother-in-law Vincent "V. L." Baker of Smithville; his grandchildren, Jayrah Trapp of Dowelltown and Jamison Trapp of Dowelltown; his daughter-in-law Audrey Trapp of Smithville; and his stepgrandchildren, Edward Dillard and Jolene Dillard. He is also survived by 4 step great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
