We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024, at the age of 94, Betty Sue Hale of Smithville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maudell Parker Tittsworth and Haskell Brown Tittsworth; her husband Jerre Ray Hale Sr.; her sons, Jay and John; her siblings, Billy (Dot), Brownie, Sandra, Faye (Clamon) and Jane (Sonny); and her brother-in-law Edward Hale.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Lillian Tittsworth of Smithville, Gloria Hale of Liberty and Betty Henderson of Martin; her daughter Suzanne Barbour (Bo) of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren, Jason Hale (Becca), Amanda Hale, Sara Green (Doug) and Holly Lee (Peter); and also Charlie. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, numerous beloved nieces and nephews, various friends, and her great grandson.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
