She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pilot and Veronica Swistak Pilot. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey Parent of Smithville; her children, Lynn McCoy (Christopher) of Smithville and Dwayne Stephens of Michigan; her grandchildren, Christopher McCoy, Jr. (Victoria), Andrew McCoy (Courtney), Brandon McCoy, Alyssa McCoy and Cameron McCoy; her great grandchildren, Jayden McCoy and Mary Claire O'Grady; her sister Roberta Norman (Thomas); and her cousins, Judy Cook and Linda Hancock.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeKalb Funeral Chapel (863 S Congress Blvd, Smithville, TN 37166). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at the DeKalb Cemetery (3027 McMinnville Hwy, Smithville, TN 37166).
In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer Association, in memory of Mrs. Parent.
