She was predeceased by: her father Edd Stout; her husband Harvey Winfield Roberts; her sisters, Faye Johnson (Marlin) and Frankie Anderson (James); and her half-siblings, Pearlie Fields (Houston), Charles Chaffin (Charlotte) and Kenneth Stout (June).
She is survived by: her children, Scotty Roberts (Donna) and Joetta Herald (Jeff); her grandchildren, Daily Roberts, Justin Herald, Jason Herald (Jordan) and Betty Herald; her great grandchildren, Annah Roberts, Temperance Roberts (Tempy), Maddison Herald, Hayden Jo Herald and Jaxon Herald; her siblings, Mack (Linda Stout), Eddie Stout (Pam) and Donna Kemp (James); and her friends, Anita Givens and Donald Harris.
