She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Filyaw and Betty Filyaw; her sisters, Evia Henson (Sissy) and Sandra Graham; and her nephew Matthew Henson.
She is survived by: her husband Rickey Meeks; her sons, Cecil and Chris Meeks (Amy); and her sister Sheilah Munger.
